I have seen him confined within enclosures but, never soaring free like he should be until today!!

Beautiful bird 8-)

Theres what looks like some kind of an eagle nesting not to far from my house, it makes me really want that 70-300 IS.

I would trade a weeks worth of spotting pictures for that. Your are very lucky, as you say, most people only ever see then behind cages.

2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

Beautiful bird.  8-) The only time I've seen one was in the Upper Peninsula in Michigan. Great catch! ; 8-)

Wow Cory, I have never seen one, its nice to see they are coming back. Looks like you & I are turning this into a bird watchers forum. ;D ;D ;D.  That was a great catch.

I worked in Essington about 7 years ago , down the street from KPHL, and I saw this guy soaring around :D Everybody at work thought I was full of it and now I have my confirmation :D

Im assuming its the same eagle by the way
