Nice shots. I really like the last one.

Are the diagrams included in the database for that system? Or do you have to load them individualy, if so...how?

nice shots!

Another great set Brett, looking pretty slick in the cockpit there.

I'm torn, I see these shots and think back to being a line guy. Should I miss my job at the airport or not? Lets see:

Crazy boss vs Friendly boss
smelling like fuel vs smelling like not-fuel
being out in the elements vs the cozy confines of a school office?

Great shots!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure you can upload them through a C.D. or to a data card off the internet in addition to your regular database subscription. Takes roughly 20 minutes to upload. The data card works similar to an SD memory card.  Just plug it into a card reader and upload the info off the internet.

We have the option to do that on our Piper Arrow with the Avidyne Flight Max Entegra avionics, but that costs $$$ so we opted not to do it.

Too bad charts aren't a hot topic on the piracy torrents ;)

They're only current for a certain number of days.  It wouldn't do you any good.

On a previous type we would get new GPS data from Jeppessen each month which was then loaded onto the aircraft. As they are one of the main producers of charts, I imagine they publish a whole data set (or at least an update) each month. The indiviadual plates will often remain in date for anything up to several years. Thankfully the advent of computers has lessened to need to keep paper records updated!

Nah the Jepp. Charts are uploaded by a card I believe.
