The Finished B-24

Postby Jared » Wed Jan 09, 2008 6:05 pm

Below are a few simple photos of my finished B-24 Bomber model....I will probably post a few more when it finally takes flight over my desk when I get the stuff to hang it again :)

Very nice Jared...

...there appears to be a very large tin of paint under that tail though... ;)

lol, the model is very tail heavy and one of the solutions would be to put a TON og weight in the nose gear compartment where you can't see it...

I however am going to be hanging this aircraft from the ceiling and do not have to worry...

the very large tin of paint is designed to keep the aircraft sitting semi-level whilst taking pictures ;)

;)

I have to admit I built a couple of Saab J-21s last year, and was thank full that there was just enough room under the instrument panel to roll a couple of lead pellets into the nose (have forgotten them) before I plonked the canopy on... ;) ;D

lol, yep I debated putting some more weight into the nose of the plane, but at the same time, it's so big it's always going to have to hang from the ceiling...so I decided to just leave it as is and let it fly over my desk :)
