A Nikon D40x or a trip to Europe for 2 weeks?

Obviously the ideal situation would bring the former along to the latter.

You can't see Europe in two weeks.............decision made.

Yeah, it kinda hit me last night when I looked at my finances.  If I were to go to Europe, I would have to get some money help other wise there would be no xmas presents, tuition payments, or flying.  I have untill Monday, I'll see if I can twist somebodys arm for some moolah

Reality check here.........

Holidays are fine, although expensive if you let them get that way........can be taken anytime within work schedules........and a variety of places can be explored and remembered......if you have a camera, even one that is a little outdated, you'll still bring back some memories......... 8-)

Without a camera, whether it good or old and still working, you'll pass by moments in time which are gone forever and cannot be recaptured.........not just holiday moments, all moments of time......... :'(

So to answer your question, do you have what you need to aid that fading memory or will you remember the holiday forever clearly ?......... :-[

You might aswell but a kodak disspossable if you are planning on a d40x IMO.

Lol don't listen to me, I like Canons.

I'd say travel, you can always buy a camera later.

As a matter of fact, the last time I traveled to Europe, I took some amazing shots with cheepo disposable.

I fell in love with Nikons after I bought my coolpix.
