ME-109

A proper 109 too. That's a rare treat. :o :)

PS. Where's the 262?

Proper-ish, mainly as its a HA-1112 (Wnr 213) incorporating a DB engine and minor parts from a G-10 (Wnr 151591). :)

Nice shots though :)

The Buchon is the ugly one. IMHO of course. :P

A Me 109 with a Merlin never looked right to me.

Oh how do I love the look of -109's and -262's :D

Just out of curiosity, are there any air-worthy Me-262's?

There are 5 new builds coming out of the states, on of which (possibly the one in the pics) went to EADS/MBB in Germany (a dual/single seater IIRC - very cunning)

so used to the merlin Buchon

I dunno, I of often think the Merlin Buchon looks nicer than the Daimler Benz Buchon (sorry, Bf109G-10 ;)). Reminds me of the early 109s (B/C/D models)... :)

Having said that about the 109 though, I'm fairly sure it has more historical providence as a Bf109 than several airworthy Spitfires and Hurricanes around today!
