Getting shots on A.net is overrated anyway (IMHO). I stopped doing it because it was making me give priority editing to photos that were in their style, and I don't like that.
A fair point, however I do quite like the notion of having one of my photographs retained in a database as a lasting record of that aircraft at a point in time, as opposed to a single post in a forum which will get lost as the forum progresses.
At the moment it is a motivation for me to take technically good photos, and edit them well. I know they will not all fit the Anet style but with some it is worth trying anyway. Once my photos are as good as yours Steve then maybe Anet will lose it's appeal as a bar for which to aim ;)
To this end I have (possiby foolishly) submitted the Tornado from my sig. It will get rejected for soft I am sure, but I like it so much I cannot resist trying ::)
