Hermeskeil Air Museum

Postby expat » Wed Aug 15, 2007 4:54 am

Whist sorting out all the pictures I have on my hard drive, I came across a folder of pictures that I had forgotten about. Last year I visited Hermeskeil Air Museum (Link) near Trier, Germany. A good collection, but in real need of a coat of paint all around
Here are a few, if you want to see more, say so.

Matt

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

They are all deteriorating badly, but at least they are presented with some dignity... nice collection, too.

Nice East and West collection! I wonder how many Sea Hawks and Gannets survive in Germany - can't be that many off how many are preserved in the UK. Nice to see a complete Comet too. :)

Always fancied a flight on a TU134 too, but always ended up on TU154s! ;D
