At Manchester the other day it was sunny with occasional banks of cloud, but the wind was so cold when the sun went in it was freezing....and the guy I got chatting to was wearing shorts and a t shirt

4 hours with no aircraft in sub zero wind and the novelty was beginning to wear off  :'(

And yup, the weather really was a nuscience. My face happens to be redder than a stop light today, yet the wind has given me a stiff neck and headache.. Without the rocks for cover I dont think lasting all day would have been easy.
