airventure 07- part 9-light "GA"

Some assorted light aircraft; the entire spectrum is represented at AirVenture.

A brandy-new, shiny Grand Caravan, just begging to get all dirty. ;D

This might actually be a homebuilt; can't remember what it is. But it looks inviting.

Ditto this beastie...

A Cessna 150 driver makes a perfect landing. The 150s were under-represented this year, but there were many 172s.

A different sort of Cessna: a RR-powered turbine 210... drool...

The Husky I'm going to win, courtesy of the EAA... bought six tickets, wish me luck! ;D

Next: part 10

The wheels on that Husky are amazing  :D If you win will you fly over here and give me a ride?

Also, is it just me, or does that Caravan look too big for the teeny-tiny prop?  :-?  ;)

Those are tundra tires- made for operating easily on any surface, including riverbeds with fairly large stones. When I win ;) I will see about getting an auxiliary tank for a trip across the Pond... actually, I'm not sure if it's IFR-equipped, so maybe not.

That prop has fairly broad blades, and that PT-6 delivers more than enough torque to keep that big wing flying.
