There are two types of aeroplane, Spitfires and everything else that wishes it was a Spitfire!

The aircraft itself is no real beauty but the paint job just ruins it entirely. :P

You're a bloomin' misery guts & no mistake. ::) Beauty is in the eye of the beholder but all I can say is that some people have very strange ideas of beauty. You might not like the paint job but the Hawker Hunter is regarded by most people as a classic & the most graceful jet fighter ever built.

Thanks. One you posted earlier looked a lot like mine. I tend to move around a bit during the show so I'm not sure where I would have been when I took these. Shame we didn't arrange to meet up but I thought you were going on the Sunday. Not sure why but none of my photos turned out that well.

I am not "most people" and generally not caring whether my idea of beauty is considered strange or not.

I find the plane not really beautiful (=not ugly, but no real beauty either -> nose/canopy/air intakes) and I hate the paint job. Period.

You're entitled to your opinion. I still think you say these things just to be different. And they call me a cantankerous old basket. ::) :P :D
