Biggin Hill 07...WW2 era and Typhoon

The show started with a spitfire being flown in formation with an RAF Typhoon, and during the course of the disply (whilst I was there...had to leave early) we saw a WW2 senario with mock dogfights between Spitfires and the Buchon. Also present in terms of WW2 era aircraft were the BBMF (a seperate thread) and Sally B being accompanied by P51 Ferocious Frankie!

Nice to see the Spitfire/Typhoon combo. Coningsby did a similar thing with a Spitfire XIX/Tornado F2 when that came into service in 1985/6 season.

I agree, either keep the Messerschmitt, or go completely spitfire, but please dont mix the two

Of Sally B...sadly not...I only got about 4, three of which were useless....I was in the proscess of leaving at the time to catch my train  :(

Oh well...plenty of oppertunities later in the year
