Postby -Crossfire- » Mon Feb 19, 2007 6:35 pm

Here are a few pics from my hometown airshow, The 2006 Abbotsford International Airshow.
It was a great weekend, August 11-13, 2006.

Yeah, I saw the Snowbirds in Millville three years ago. The flew a low show due to a low cloud deck. Very cool. :)

Don't get to see shots of the Snowbirds very often, shame they won't/can't leave North America! Very nice :)

Its countdown time here on the island......they'll be in town very soon for their annual work-ups for the upcoming airshow circuit season........we'll be having two opportunities each dayto see them practice their new routine for this year, for almost three weeks, weather permitting, of course .......

Ya, the Snowbirds perform in Canada and the US first, but they have been to Europe before, so don't count it out entirely!

Man, those B-1 engines look so mean... I hope they didn't fire them up while you were standing there...

That Canadian chopper... looks a lot like the Merlin, doesn't it...

I think if you check into it Kris, you'll find that they are both based on the same airframe but outfitted for different missions though.......
