Some actually do have a burst capability, all it takes is a burst chip. Most recnetly I beleive Marui came out with a Type 89 with burst capability ;)

Actually burst is nothing new in the Airsoft world. TM and CA both had burst capabilitys on their M-16A3s, but the problem they found is that they chewed up bevel gears and tappet plates like candy.

Basically unless they have changed that, I would only trust a gas gun with burst.

As long as you get one of the new generation ones, I'm okay with that decision. The older gens have some of the worst gearboxes.....well apart form G&G that is.

Please don't take it personal as I might stirr up things in here a little, but ...

I think it's absurd that a 16 year old has these kinds of weapons lying around in the house! :-?

I'm not saying that you'll use them in a wrong way but I find it weird that Americans (in general) judge the Dutch (that is a cool saying BTW) for legalizing marihuana but alow people to have these kind of things in the house.

You probably have these because you're a member of a shooting club but I still think it's dangerous to have them ...

Not real ;D They shoot 6mm plastic bb's. They can break the skin and hurt your eyes, but thats the purpose of eye protection.
