ooh ok yer i thought it was a bit strange how far are those recruits firing from and are they using live munitions?


Yes and that'll be a standard 25m range, which is used for most basic UK military weapons training (handguns/rifles).

Yes and that'll be a standard 25m range, which is used for most basic UK military weapons training (handguns/rifles).

25m is also a standard competition range. The Rifle club I used to go to had an indoor 25 metre range and an outdoor 50 yard range. For some reason I was always better outside.
