Spotting at N40-part 5

Some more... anybody tired of this yet?  ;D

Ah, an old 140 Cherokee..

Image

Pretty impressive take-off for a 140 loaded with (at least) 3 people... probably didn't have full tanks.  ;D

A fine-looking C-185 Skywagon...

And this Cardinal (seen earlier in flyboy's post) is resplendent in silver and red... wow! I'm just now noticing the muffler; interesting.

Next: somebody stop me!!

All these N40 posts are GREAT... !

I can kill an afternoon, parked by the tower, on the hood of my car, scanner in hand, watching this stuff..

Not 100% positive, but I believe that is a Cessna 182, not a 185.  All the 185's I've ever seen were taildraggers.

Nice series. That's my sort of place. :)

Interesting angles. Some of them came off better than others. IMHO

Whoops; right you are... there are some trike-configured 185s, but this ain't one of them... the 185 has one more window on the side.

I'll admit it's a fairly experimental offering... not all focussed very well, either. Been a little slow here in Photos lately, so I figured: why not?  ::)
