Spotting at N40-part 3

Always a pleasure to get "Mauled"... I love these things!!

Mr. E.C. Moore arrives in his award-winning Rans S-7, completed  in 2003... a very nice short-field approach.

A lot of hard work went into the paintjob on this baby- and saying it's "hi-vis is" an understatement!!

I should've got a clearer shot of the artwork on the fuselage... it's a military tribute, featuring a bunch of Looney Toons characters in uniform.  Also, the "N" in the N-number is stylized to look like the NJ Devils logo... (it's N666EC, BTW). Everything about this homebuilt screams "MY baby!! Mine!!"  ;D
He taxiied right onto the grass by the taxiway and strolled into the restaurant, just a few yards away. Gotta love this lifestyle!  ;D

Awesome shots, Sean!! :)

Really like that homebuilt.  At the angle you are at in the first shot it looks like he is in the ground.
Hey, is he using an early version of FS? ;D

The approach end of 25 dips down quite a bit... his wheels were, in fact, below my feet there.
Amazing machine: it'll cruise at 110 knots, but can be landed inside a bathtub, it seems. Huge flaps. ;D

Wonderful shots Sean...great looking homebuilt.... :)

I hope you watered and fed Peg while you were there at the restaurant.   ;)

Do not see any snow anywhere in the bush either...still looks like late Fall with the leaves all gone.

A good spotting weekend was had by the two of you it would seem.

Cheers...Happy Landings...Doug
