The Hawks

After my overdose on Moths I went up to Old Warden on Sunday. I saw more Miles types on a single airfield than I've seen for almost 50 years. Fantastic. :o 8)
Being of wooden construction these are very rare aircraft indeed.

The beautiful Hawk Speed Six. Sole survivor of the famous racing aeroplane that beat all comers in the King's Cup air races for several years running.

That Speed Six is one of the most beautiful aircraft I've ever seen.

I must say, that british aircrafts are legendary in my mind! (Spitfire, Lancaster, all Miles & ect ect ect..)

Oh, right... there's only one.
But I think we could take that guy, y'know, while he's fumbling for his car keys or something. I'll knock him down, and you kick him in the head.
