N = no gift
C = crappy gift
G = Good gift
N>C but G>C
If N=False
Then G = Really friggin' good option
Needless to say, I quickly came up with my list before horrendous presents ensued.
My sister bought me a book*, and my mother six:

Along with a pair of headphones, since my last pair broke. I've been using my headset in the meantime.

And I bought myself two cameras. Here's my old friend, who succumbed to the salty, watery wrath of the Pacific Ocean on the sandy, rocky coasts of Chile. I kept it as a reminder that risks and electronics don't mix.

Ms. Sony DSC T5.

And Mr. Panasonic DMC FZ7.

A happy family!

Now, the reason for this thread. I found two things unsavory about my purchases.
- The little camera has this god awful sticker on the front.
- The big camera doesn't have a black grip, which I thought it would. As you can see by my other electronics, I like a good silver/black colour scheme.
Solutions in my mind, respectfully:
- Use a hairdryer. I read before using a hot hair dryer will make stickers come right off. It worked on my laptop and PC monitor, but these are made to take quite a bit of heat (CPU, anyone?). Not so with a camera. What doth thou suggest?
- I can purchase a black hand grip for Mr. Biggins, but then comes replacing the existing grip with the new. Any ideas on the best course of action here? It seems to be glued on. Perhaps contact cement? Special camera glue? A laughable idea, but hey - you never know.
PS: Y'all may/may not have noticed I don't drop by much anymore. My job doesn't really allow me spare time anymore. I'm looking into rectifying this ailment.
PPS: For those of you who remember my Bible inquiry, I did finally end up choosing the KJV.

*The book my sister bought is the one on the bottom right.

It does indeed take good photos, I caught a dragonfly yesterday, I'll see if I can post the picture tonight.
