RAF Leeming June 8th 2006

Postby F3Hadlow » Thu Jun 08, 2006 5:08 pm

Enjoyed the beautiful weather at Royal Air Force Leeming this afternoon. Sadly the activity levels were quite low with only based movements being seen on this occasion. A little dissapointed they were landing my way as it meant my photos became rather 'samey' and I prefer action shots, alas it wasn't to be this time and I still enjoyed myself...

There are two types of aeroplane, Spitfires and everything else that wishes it was a Spitfire!

Ah, the wind direction. Tell me about it. ;)

Nice shots. A little sunshine makes all the difference.

It was annoying! If they'd have been taking off my way they wouldn't be so samey and lethargic >:(

Thanks for your nice comments to all :)

Thanks a lot for the nice comments again :)

I'm afraid not, were you in one of them? If you were apologies, I only saw you depart and they were using the 16 end so I couldn't get you in the air and ground shots were rendered pointless by heat haze. A word of praise though, that was a beautiful paired departure, spot on!
