After a bit testing with the camera, I found out why!
It's because when it's on autoflash, it can only go to 1/160!
but if i remove autoflash, it can go up to 1/4000! :D

Don't manually set the shutter speed extremely highly otherwise you will stretch your lenses aperture beyond it's maximum capability which will leave you with underexposed photos. You'll rarely come over conditions that allow you to use 1/4000th and keep a decent exposure, if you must manually set your shutter speed I would say use 1/1000th on a bright day or 1/750th / 1/500th on a dull day, any higher than that and you risk underexposure.
Just my humble opinion of course...

I have no experience with your kind of camera so feel free to take my opinion with a pinch of salt.
