what I drive day after day :)

Postby Jared » Sun May 28, 2006 11:55 pm

parents picked it up in November of last year for me to drive and take over payments on when I graduate from college and get a good paying job here in December :)

2002 PT Cruiser Touring edition
2.4L 4 Cyl. 5-speed manual transmission (best part IMHO)
Power up/back moonroof
pwoer seat height for driver (always down as far as it can go)
AM/FM/CD/Cassette

Custom chrome grill and non-standard chrome rims

et, etc, overall a pretty good driving little car, averaging around 35-42 MPG. I was skeptical at first, but overall I'm sold on the car, and will happily take over payments come graduation time :)

yup, looked like new when we picked her up form the dealer with only 8,100 miles on it for being 4 years old...previous owner had actually turned the floor mats upside down so that the rubber side was up so that they would stay cleaner.

tomorrow I need to get outside and wax it along with cleaning up some little spots on the rims that need polished out :)

LOL! Exactly my thoughts, you don't need to slow down to corner this thing :)

I just have to point this out, being the ricer I am (Jap Muscle all the way)

The rivets are only for display, no function. How tacky. Konig, 5 Zegin, or Raceing Heart would have looked much better.

However I really cant get the look I wanted at it, what are the rims wrapped in?

Cheers

lol, yes I know the rims aren't the best. I'd like to put some better ones on it eventually but for now I will stick with the ones that the previous owner put on it before I got a hold of it seeing as how that is much cheaper in the short run ;)

Who doesn't love a "Mobster 40'S/50'S" style body on a Dodge Neon frame ;D

The lady that designed the PT for Damlier quit and now works for GM. She also designed the new Chevrolet HHR.  I only know this because when the first HHR hit are shop it looked strangly like a PT. The designs came from the same woman. Just some useless information for you.

Nice pics BTW. I'd like to get a hold of a totaled one so I can restore it and chop the top. I had a car mag around here somewhere from where a guy packed a Viper motor in one. Or maybe it was a Prowler I forget. ;)

A nice set of these Enkei CDR9's Would look very good on that buggy of yours.

And no matter what a set of Konig Holes can make any car look good.

Cheers
