OK then you spotters. What's the similarity between these two? Both taken at Shoreham recently.

Clue: I thought there was something unusual about that PA28 but couldn't put my finger on it.

PS. I'm a tad peed off as I should be at Duxford today. Blasted weather. >:( ;)

What's the similarity between these two?


Erhm..
They can fly?
They have trigear?
They have pilots?
They are both on UK reg?

there both owned by the same people and there both chartered aircraft.

the owners are Carole Realff and Anthony Douglas Realff and are trading as ADR aviation,

I'd hazard a guess that both may have Lycoming IO360s up the front... :)

FAA: "Aircraft Engine Built with Auto Parts Gains FAA Certification"

Based on certification tests for the TAE 125-01, the FAA specifies a life limit of 1000 hours or 12 years, whichever comes first. Overhaul is not allowed and owners must replace the engine after the time limit.
