Cosford flying visit

Postby 61_OTU » Tue May 16, 2006 8:34 am

Hi guys,

had a meeting in Walsall today, so popped in quick to Cosford to see what was going on

I arrived just at the same time as ths Jaguar, and I was going considerably faster  8). Anyone know where this came from, not sure if it is an exhibit or if it was going in to Cosford itself as an instructional airframe etc.

The new building is coming on well, they are starting to move in some of the exhibits

As highlighted by Charlie, some of the exhibits seem to be no longer required  :( (I'd have it ::))

But others seem to finally getting the attention they deserve  8)

More to come in pt 2.......

I hope that Jag gets treated right! As with the Valiant!

That 707, though :(

That Valiant is the one I saw on the back of a truck leaving Hendon. Museums are stealing each others planes!!

They generally look after the planes at cosford. Not quite sure I am looking forward to the airshow this year with all this work going on. Going to be a nightmare. Great shots.:)

There are two types of aeroplane, Spitfires and everything else that wishes it was a Spitfire!
