EBBR first time spotting trip - part III

Postby Omag 2.0 » Wed Apr 19, 2006 1:44 pm

After a while I decided to head nearer to the runway, by following the road that lies next to it. I wanted that heads-on angle on at least one bird... Well... I got that... I saw something big comming in. Several other spotters moved to the right from that spot, kinda in a hurry... I, a newbee as I am at spotting there, stood my ground...

I could see it was a biggie...

She kept comming right at me, must have been the wind or something, but I tell you one thing... standing straith in the path of an oncomming Airbus A330 is not exactly relaxing... So I went to the right a little too...

Man, she's massive!

In the end I don't think there was danger at all, it just looked treathning...

I just love the atmosphere in this shot!

And over the fence she goes...

Goosebumps-moment people

Omag, certainly heading back!

Great set of shots all round! You might like to know I recieved my new camera today (the KM DiMAGE Z5), so I'm gonna have to go out on a little trip to test it out properly! Reassuring to see how well pictures on a similar camera turned out :)
