OK... downwind checklist done (including correct freq); here I'm turning to base.

On base. A little close, but that's OK.

Turning to final...

Established on final.

Should've crabbed a little more here, but it's not as bad as it looks...note how arrivals to 25 are greeted by a tall pine tree and a tiny cemetery plot... no, those are not graves of pilots who've hit the tree...:D

Image

Actually floated a bit on this one, but plunked her down at the second taxiway... not great, but not too bad.

"Well, that was not great, but not too bad..."

I think Jinx was contemplating having just cheated Death when he swung his camera towards the big cemetery on the other side while we taxiied back... ;D

Well, thanx for looking- I have a couple of randoms from the obligatory hanging-around session afterwards (I'll post later); also ran into Marco, who was just coming back from having the Cherokee appraised. Looks like he and one of the 4 partners are going to try to hang on to it for a while.

Looks like your home field is a good spot to fly out of Sean :)
Is it like most small rural fields here where you can fire a cannon down the runway Monday to Friday and then it is busy on Saturday and Sunday?

Interesting flight ;)

Cheers...Happy Landings...Doug

Definitely. They're all like that around here; and now that the days are longer there will be a lot of after-work flying going on.
