These are two photos I took myself on visits to the French carrier Foch in April 92 and to a French base. The earlier Tiger scheme, with the tail and the erect penis, had aroused a lot of amusement amongst us photographers then and became the talk at dinner among us guys at the end of the day. The lower photo was from a visit of the Tiger (FOCH) to Piraeus.
We had even made the overhearing waitress blush from what she overheard each time she bought the next course to the table... (It must have been the Aeronavale base at HYERES, but I do not remember the date and am too lazy to look at notes). These are scans of my own slides, by the way...
I have over 1000 slides of my own aviation photos, mosty from visits on US carriers, but also many from airshows all over Europe and England, and some from the Vietname front and era. The problem is to find the time and energy to scan the slides.
