I went to Cosford with the new camera a few weeks ago, only just got around to posting these

It's meant to convey the cold war, two ideologies joined in a common world. Looks more like the twist in the centre of a wooden prop to me.

That Auster really captured my heart, perfect for a trip to the Austrian glaciers, ski trip anyone?

Just as long as it makes the best use of the available land. Surely the idea is to get as many aircraft under cover as possible & display them to their best effect. This is something these trendy architects seem to forget. I speak from experience of when our new warehouse was built. When I asked why they had designed the roof like that, thus restricting the available storage area, I was told it looked rather nice.

PS. It's a warehouse on an industrial estate, not a work of art.

They never forget their wallets though! The AAM at Duxford is a good example of a good display building. Shame that it seems a little too small for all the aircraft they keep trying to cram into it...
