Jayhawk

Postby deadkennedy » Fri Dec 23, 2005 3:04 pm

These are photo's, taken during my vacation a couple of years ago. We were on a cruise in the Caribbean when somebody needed urgent medical attention. They called in the US Coast Guard for an evac.
I think we just left Key West and were heading for Grand Cayman.
I can't describe the feeling of a Jayhawk hoovering just meters above you.

Please excuse me for the bad quality, but these are scans from real photographs, I didn't have a digital at the time.

These shots are dedicated to SAR-crews all over the world. Keep up the good work guys.

Enjoy, Frank.

Nice pics :) I've always been a fan of that colour scheme.

Nice photos.
Personally I've always prefered something bigger for SAR, like the S-61, but that Jayhawk is an exception, I love it! :)

Very nice shots, just a shame about the situation that brought him to you.
