Looking north from the last shot towards Swanbourne Lake & the Black Rabbit pub. This avenue of trees is usually a riot of colour at this time of year but the remaining leaves are still green. Maybe there's something to this Gobal Warming after all.

A view of the lake set in typical rolling South Downs scenery. Note the white path which is the same chalk as the famous White Cliffs of Dover. This area is very popular with tourists during the summer months & weekends at this time of year.

Onward to the Black Rabbit pub. A delightful spot alongside the River Arun with the white chalk of the Downs showing in the background. The pub was packed or I would have stopped here for something to eat.

A view from the river bank. A nice old village church nestling in the countryside. I'm not sure which village this is but the church is very similar to many others in Sussex & probably Norman.

That's all I have room for as these images are so graphics intensive. Hope you enjoyed my brief tour of Arundel. On the way home I popped into Littlehampton harbour to see what was going on at the seaside.
