It's nice when a sunrise comes out in colours. Sometimes (though rarely) more rewarding than sunsets.

I got up at four thirty in the morning for this one in Sweden in August...

Reminds me of the two days in a row down at the beach when I rose at 5:30 and walked the beach until the sun rose.  I literally watched it move over the horizon.  Nice close to the summer :)

Meeeeeh... I wish I had a better camera to capture those beautiful "events". Sunrises/-sets are always very nice at my dad's...

reminds me of my holiday in corfu a few years back, I stayed up all night to take photos of the sunrise on my phone. It really did look beautiful coming up over the Greek mainland.

although, i have lost the pics now, i gave that phone to my granddad when he was alst over here and had to delete everything off the phone for him
