I love it personaly. Gives a nice touch to the day insted of sitting in a desk those 3 hours. Its a 1/2 2 story, 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom, full basement, and a 2 car attached garage.
All we started with on August 17th was the concreate basement...Over the past 2 months 16 of us working 3 hours a day, 5 days a week, have turned it into this...
These first 3 were taken around noon today...Beautiful day to be out working.
From the front it at first seems a little small. The roof is not overly steep but its not as flat as it appears from this angle. The dormer will have a large curved window in it. Behind the paper theres a big hole, just ran out of time to cut it out
The right side...Had to keep backing up for this one. The second story is only over the back half. Main roof is now finished all but the peak, wont take to long to shingle the garage and the little middle section.
Quick view from the inside. Came in from the garage. Not much to look at right now. Just a skeleton with a few of the supports still in place. The hole is the basement stairs...the ones to the second floor will go right above them...when we dont know...It would be nice to have them insted of climbing through the rafters...we tried to tell our instructor we are not a bunch of monkeys...though there is a couple of people who might be in question

These last three were taken Friday...It was cold, wet, and misserable to be roofing :-/
From the far, back corner of the garage roof. I was taking a little stretch break after 2 strait hours of shingling the front.
To give an idea of what kind of location this place is located...Turned around...cant see much through the fog but on a clear day like today you can see for about 5 miles across the fields.

Moved to the front left corner of the house for this one. Under certain lighting conditions this would make for a stunning painting...Though with a cammera distant objects always appear much smaller then they are.
So far I have had 2 falls off the garage roof from people not paying attention...1 ladder slid sideways with me on it...And the fun a week ago when that long front roof was just the plywood sheeting, a couple of us sat on our hard hats and slid from the top clear down and off to the ground. Landings hurt a little but made for a fun ride

Still have a long ways to go...next will be the windows and doors, then some of the siding and the brick work on the chimney. After the snow starts falling we will start on the inside wiring, plumbing, insulation, and drywall.
I will try to take a set of shots every few weeks. Will see just how some of the different stages go

No labor or anything...unless they do like most and bring us donuts and drinks once in awhile
