that is me, the fat one, in the middle.

and i'l tell you now, the cheerleaders are boring. it was cold out so they were in underarmor and jackets. nothing special.

i have video of the cheerleaders, poms, and dance troupe (and they were all in daisy dukes to fit the theme), but it's kinda hard to post video on my computer. i need some digital cabel which i dont have.

Cool... you guys are loaded for bear, with the whole standing percussion section... even the gong!! LOL!!
We never had that, but we did have my friend Evan's electric bass rig on a hand-truck so he could play on the field... with a looooong extension cord...
;D

SEVEN bass drums?? Holy crap!! That's a might large pit you have going on, too. Our pit is just people (mostly trombone players) who injured themselves and can't march. ::)

you think it's 7 bass drums, but then you have to ask your self, where are the snares?

we have 3 quints, 4 snares, and 4 basses (one broke his leg last week, he's out)

in our drum solo, the snares take their drums out (hence the visible snare harnesses) and put on the basses. it's fun stuff, im definetly getting a recording for us to hear.

lol you think that pit is big?? hah, you havnt see my band =P...

this is last year at state semifinals, where we placed 2nd in AAAAA. But finals got rained out that night so they ended up giving us second in AAAAA and 2nd overall in the state.
our drum line this year is slightly bigger, we have 6 snares this year
Image
now keep in mind this shot only has about half of the band in it becasue we are so spread out...

the classing must be different from state to state. Maybe becasue Florida has so many bands they have to have more classes? idk, but we are in 5A with about 180 members. what happened to the pic i posted last night? did u get to see it?
