Good for him & long may he continue to be chief pilot. I always compared clipping those wings with attacking them with a hacksaw. Vandalism which spoils the perfect silhouette of arguably the most beautiful & recognisable aeroplane ever designed. It must also affect the aerodynamic qualities of that perfect elliptical wing.

Didn't 'arf make it fun at low level though. I remember the previous Chief Pilot was rather good at showing its roll rate...

I noticed the current chief pilot had a rather hairy moment when he rolled it yesterday. Not one of his better days I feel.
