RAF L-o-O Open Day

Postby C » Fri Aug 05, 2005 1:04 pm

Families and (Local residents) Open Day at RAF Linton on Ouse today. Apart from the resident Tucanos, we had a few visitors. Here's the first batch...

Tornado GR4, ZA597, AJ-O of 617Sqn (Dambusters)

I forgot to mention the show bit. Started with a Hawk followed by the Typhoon (;D). Merlin and Chinook both displayed, then the solo Tucano, a Tucano 4 ship, and ended by a Harrier... :)

Thanks - its nice to have an airshow within 400yds of ones house!

No shots of Typhoon - it didn't land, and flying shots with my camera would have been futile. Nice display though.
