Teaser....

I am so burned..........damn it was a hot CAVU day and I had no sun screen on.........will I ever learn ?

Yes indeed Ken, the F-18 does use the F-404 engine !

Ah yes, but you do have another fine engine in your sig........the infamous J-58........used to great effect by Kelly Johnson .

Indeed...one of the most extraordinary engines ever made. After reading several books about the SR-71, I almost know every bit about this power unit and everytime, it surprises me more and more. Those guys from P&W did an amazing job by making this thing...all this in the late fifties, don't forget that!  8)
