Oshkosh #9: Vintage Pt II

Postby Wing Nut » Fri Jul 29, 2005 10:22 pm

Some more old beauties...  I will say this much.  I went to Oshkosh for the Warbirds and a few other things.  I did not expect to be as enthralled as I was by the vintage planes.  Some of these things are true works of art and I think I came away with a deeper appreciation for aviation as a whole for just seeing them up close.  Next time I go, they WILL be on my must see list.

Nice little Air Camper

I am easily distracted by shiny things...  :)

This is the very first Pitts bi-plane!  It wasn't with the other vintage planes, but it fits...

The last one is the Show Cat, flown by Gene Soucy and wing walked by Terresa Stokes... 8)

There are two types of aeroplane, Spitfires and everything else that wishes it was a Spitfire!
