Superb Swordfish. This is one of the nicest large models I've ever seen.

And I think the nicest large model I've ever seen. Awesome DH Comet 4. This twin gas turbine model flew just like the real thing and looked stunning.

If the weather holds I think I'll pop back again tomorrow.

Lovely shots. Large scale models are very impressive. Think I would enjoy flying the Swordfish more than the Comet. It should fly well & sound very nice with those gas turbines but there's not much you can do with this sort of model except fly it around sedately. Come to think of it, much the same goes for the Swordfish. ::)

PS. Of course, that's if you fly it in a scale manner, which is the general idea with scale models. Don't let Ozzy get hold of it. :o :P

That's not how they do it at the Nationals though. Some of Mark's AN-225 flying is more scale than the "scale" flyers at the Nats...

Yea yea, I know it's evil; but I still want to see that Comet crash and burn!

Ah, but with the Stringbag, you could sink a model battleship...

;D
Truly, they're both amazing!
