WWII Aircraft Expo- Pt. 2

Two more shots of the beautiful Beech.

The TBM Avenger. This aircraft is surprisingly large. The pilot was a really nice guy, and I also got to meat a guy who flew one of these in the war.

And last but not least, the PT-17 Stearman. They were also giving rides in this plane, but again, I didn't find out untill later. Anyway, I hope you liked my photos and remember- Airventure is right around the corner. So get ready for tons more pictures. ;)

Very nice indeed. ;)

I find these smaller events are well worth going to as they're usually far less crowded & you can get much closer to the aircraft.

And to think when I moved in next to Downsview back in the late 50's, I used to see the Expeditor on a very regular basis..........very nice memory shaker shots !
