Flying above home.

Postby Rocket_Bird » Thu Jun 30, 2005 4:56 pm

Today I went for a solo flight out of my local international airport.  I decided to take my camera along, heres a few shots of what I got.

Having a look at the ramp

Taxing down the taxiway.  Terminal is 2 miles to the right, tower is on the left

My wheel and some houses.

A nice look at a lake about 20 miles east of CYYC.  The grass around it sure looks green after our recent massive rainstorms... and err floods.

I tried to get some pictures of the airport before I landed, but this was all I got and you can't really see it (Was busy getting instructions from terminal and tower).  Can kind of make out the tower from a distance.

Hehe thanks.  Maybe if i get more, my FS2004 will look better and better! :)  One thing I wouldnt mind is if FS2004's taxilines look someone like that... bordered by black, that be cool.  Wouldnt mind some wear on runway markings either.   :)

O.K.

We have, in the first ppicture, from left ot right:

Piper PA-30 Twin Comanche
Cessna 414
Looks to be another Piper PA-30 Twin Comanche behind the Cessna
Diamond DA-20C1 Eclipse
Cessna 172 (Probably an 'S' model)

This is from memory, I might add, so I could be wrong. The Diamond MIGHT be a DA-40, looks kinda bigger....
MSI K8N Neo2 Platinum
Athlon64 3700+ San Diego (2200) @ 2750 MHz
1024MB PC3200 @ 500 MHz (Mushkin V2)
GeForce 6800GT OC (BFG)
(2) 80G SATA Seagates RAID0
(1) Maxtor 250Gb 16MB Cache ATA133

You are really close.  Thats a cessna 401, and I believe the 172 on the right is an R model (Though ive never been in it).  The diamond is a DA-40 i think as well
