Avro Lancaster B.MkI PA474. I really did not think the Lanc would turn up with the wind and low cloud, but it did and it flew its full display. Awesome.
Alex Henshaw should have been at the show but he was not there when I arrived. Pitty because I was going to get Ozzy an autograph ;)
A few more shots later.

Saw this one last week at the Gilze Rijen airshow. I was driving to the show but got stuck in the traffic. This one was preparing its display and flew over my car together with two Spits, also of the BoBMF.  ;)
Raw power...the J-58.

There are two types of aeroplane, Spitfires and everything else that wishes it was a Spitfire!

Merlins good, Griffons bad ;D

And here I thought that the Merlin was the young pony and the Griffon was the thoroughbred racer ?

So, on that note, can we assume " young Mark good", but "old Mark BAD !"  ;)   ;D

These excellent shots add testament to the fact that Merlins are such superior machines!
