Floody Hell !

Postby 4_Series_Scania » Sun Jun 19, 2005 3:31 pm

Whilst driving my daughter back to the ex's tonight, considering today has been really hot & sunny, I was rather surprised to find , in under 5 minutes, the A34 dual carriageway in Stoke on Trent, somewhat flooded, after a very short ,but sudden downpour!

I had my Camera handy!  ;D

My speed was approx 8 MPH I point out in the interest of safety.  ;)

Shouldn't that be Stoke IN Trent my wife has just said.  ::) ::)
We've had it fairly easy up here in Derbyshire then.

well that sure seems odd..:)

We've got that before where we had a river literally running down our street in those torrential downpours that only last for a short while...;)

If you look at the third pic, you'll see two Lexus's. If you look at the blue one, you'll get an idea what mine is like ;) ;)

Nice shots, we had a little downpour here too. It was way too hot the whole day...
Cheers,
Ashar ;) ;)
