Postby Ben_M_K » Mon Jun 20, 2005 9:35 am

Well I had a great time Saterday at the La Crosse AirShow. Awesome time!  :)
Here are some statics. They had a pretty good display of statics. :)

Navy jet, they use this for transporting people. Cool to see a Naval buisness jet. :)

F-16 from the 115 FW out of Madison Wisconsin. That's my dad on the left in the black shirt.

The mighty A-10. They had three of them on display. :)

How can you beat the F/A-18? Just a marvelous bird. :)

Nice shots with some great skies! Are you guys allowed to walk around the planes...without any fence?

That hornet, is that a Super Bug?

Oh sure, everthing but the Thunderbirds. It's like that at all airshow in the States. :)

Wonderful shots! :)

You cna't always walk around all of the planes, it depends on the show. Most of the time you can walk around the static aircraft, but the ones that are performing are cordoned off, to avoid having to move people back and forth when getting it out and ready to fly later in theday.. ;)

At least that is how they do it here in Ohio most of the time.. ;)

Well that depends on the plane, as well. I mean, they aren't just gonna let you walk right up to an F-117 and rip a piece of it's skin off. :P Also most of the time, after the little dinky aerobatic planes are done and landed and as the Blues or T-Birds are taxiing out they usually let people in to see them then. But most of them are just static and they let you do whatever. Hey, if theres a ladder leading up to the cockpit, it's without saying that they let you in the cockpit if you want. ::)
