its that time again

Well with bonfire night fast approaching, the fireworks have been going up despite the horrible weather. I took this handheld 5 second exposure, i thought the slight shake created a good effect. It was also with this picture that i found i have a hot pixel, and Canon wont fix it till there are more than 10, so cloning will be needed on long night exposures. Going to buy a tri-pod next weekend to allow better shots of fireworks and other things.

Its basically a pixel that has died on the CCD? i think, and appears as a blue or red dot in the picture. It only appears in long night time exposures and my daytime shots are unaffected.

I've got 4 of them on my LCD monitor, (the max allowed by Philips)....!
One of then looks like a sparrow constantly flying in the sky front of me in the flight sim.... ::)... ...!
..bleedin nuisance... ...!
