PS. Do you know what they are?

Kind of. I'm pretty sure the first is a waco. They give rides in it for $35 per person. Not bad. And I think the third one was built by ryan flying co.

I was hoping you could tell me. I'm not too good at US vintage types as there's so many of them. You got the first one right. It's a Waco YKS-7. #2 is the Spartan 7W Executive "Mrs Mennen". #3 could be a Ryan design but I don't recognise it.

PS. I confess to cheating a little. Here's a list of the EAA Museum aircraft. ;)

#3 could be a Ryan design but I don't recognise it.
The reason I say it could be Ryan is because it was in the Ryan hanger. And I belive I remember reading that it was a Ryan.

I found out what it is. The prototype Ryan SC-W (Sport Coupe). Here's another one. Shiny ain't it? :D

This page shows some of the problems with keeping these vintage aircraft flying. If the spares aren't available you have to manufacture them yourself. There's some clever people about.
