Lost Squadron Museum pt1

Yesterday I went to the Lost Squadron Museum Air Show, the main attraction was Glacier Girl, but others were there as well, such as a beautiful and sparkling P51! :)

As you can see no-one was really restricted from getting close to the aircraft and copping a feel :)
If you don't know about Middlesboro, KY it is a city that resides in the bottom of a meteor crater, this was recently discovered, and is belived to be the only town in the world to be in one. By the shots it is hard to tell but from the air it is easy to see, looks like a town in the bottom of a bowl.

Man now thats a lovely P-51. Nothing like the sound of that engine roaring by!!!

A truely beautiful piece of flying history, I'm just glad I'm not the guy who has to polish it ;D
