November 18, 1981, in a small Lake Superior coastal town named Munising, on a cold, blustery November day, an event happened that changed the world forever...

...BigTruck.

It was never the same after that.

Well, March 13, 1979, my daddy used to travel a lot between California and Asia for work. Here he was arriving in Hong Kong on the business trip right before cutting his trip short to come home for my mom's c-section!

Just set the flightsim to the date you were born.  That's the only rule.  If something happened...YAY!  Make a theme of it.   If not, oh well, we have a screenshot of you flying at the moment you were born  :)

Got an airplane?  I have an idea if you have an airplane  ;)  F  L  Y

;D

Seriously folks, just set the date on your sim and fly, then snap a shot, doesn't matter if anything happened!!!  Lots of stuff happened on my birthday, but not on the year I was born, so I just snapped a shot of the area I was born in  8-)

No need to read between the lines here gents (and ladies if you're participating) just set your Sim to your birthdate and FLY!!!

1 question

does it have to be the same year as you were born

Theme is the day, ex. July 15th, you were born, the year is irrelevant (see below)

cos mines june 18th and Winston Churchill made his speech that day :D

I think you answered your own question here ;)

While I'm not playing, July 15th has some interesting aviation events:

1934 - Continental Airlines commences operations

1954 - First flight of the Boeing 367-80, prototype for both the Boeing 707 and C-135 series

1996 - A Belgian Air Force C-130 Hercules carrying the Royal Netherlands Army marching band crashes on landing at Eindhoven Airport

If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

June 18th 1940
'This was their finest hour.'

"Let us therefore brace ourselves to our duties, and so bear ourselves, that if the British Empire and its Commonwealth last for a thousand years, men will still say, 'This was their finest hour.'"
