Layne, I'm not the one to defend Doug even if he would need help, but would suggest you settle down and talk to him in respect.

Doug is one of the most senior members of SimV (if not the first) and everyone on the V respects and values his opinions. I know you're only thirteen so I can't blame you for not thinking before posting but talking disrespectful to Doug is - in my opinion - enough to get you banned ...

You asked for feedback and you got it. You obviously don't fully understand how compression works ...

The shots are 35kb so they are overcompressed as you can only save as jpg in Paint.NET without adjusting compression.

If you want me to prove my point ... e-mail one of the original shots and I'll post it here close to 150kb.


I don't understand people complaining about compression ruining their shots when the rules are the same for everyone.

Exactly my point ... you will never see me complain about compression. And if I find a shot is overcompressed then I don't post it ... no matter how good it is.
