A New Historical Tour...

Postby Peanut1234 » Fri Mar 02, 2007 10:34 pm

Hey guys,

Harold Kip has inspired me to take on a tour of my own. My tour is going to take me on a journey through the 13 original American colonies, to end up in Washington D.C. by the 4th of July. These are some preview shots, also part of my first hop, from Athens, Georgia to Spartanburg, South Carolina.

Booting up at Athens, getting ready to go!

Please give me our inputs about the tour/shots!

High Flight Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of earth And danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings; Sunward I've climbed, and joined the tumbling mirth Of sun-split clouds - and done a hundred things You have not dreamed of - wheeled and soared

You'll probably get bored halfway through the trip... but good luck anyways :)

Jojo is an excellent plane to choose Rhys, I nearly took that one to fly up & meet with Harold on his way through Alaska, but took the V-tail instead - but it was a very close call.

Great pics, I look forward to the rest of your trip.

Cheers,

Suprised you haven't already got this one Paul - I think you'll love it, it's one of the best freeware's out there.

Great idea an I'm honored to have inspired you :) Make sure you'll get the fireworks on July 4th.

Looks like a very nice bird. I'm downloading her now (thanks for the link Martyn!)
