Leaving Lugano

Postby ramsa329 » Fri Feb 03, 2006 2:51 pm

Beautiful Ariane 737-500 leaving Lugano Switzerland.

The scenery is VFR Switzerland with some new autogen add-ons that I found.

Thought this might be interesting since you don't see Ariane too much on this site.

Firstly Michael Brilliant shots! Some of the best and prettiest I've ever seen!

Second of all the reason that Ariane is shown much here is If I remember correctly....

It is owned By Peter Tishma who If I'm not mistaken tried to copyright official airline liveries to himself. so asically If you wanted to do a KLM liverie You'd have to pay him for it. I'f I'm not mistaken out of the three major fs sites some supported it and I know Simv didn't. Because of that reason Ariane isn't really loved by all.

I think that was the story....

Even so these shots are bloody awesome! Magnificent job you did there!

First let me say thanks to anyone who took the time to look and reply. I put a lot of work into these and I appreciate the feedback.

Apparently they do not appeal to a lot of people whose standards are higher than my efforts.

The scenery is called Switzerland VFR and is a photoreal scenery not just a mesh

Thanks for the info about Ariane and while I personally have not had any problems with them and have always received excellent support  it appears as though others have.

Given this I can understand why you would not see a lot of shots posted here and I would agree.

but that does not in any way mean that their product is not excellent and very beautiful.

Why Michael? I don't know what the problem is, you received 6 replies and yet you are still not happy?
Your last sentence is simply a wonderful way of twisting things. I know that you don't believe in any word what you wrote.

You claim it's not about your ego, then what is it? You're the only one "complaining" that your shots doesn't get 25replies during the first days.

You think this will make a difference? And if it really does, how does it feel to get replies just because of empathy?

So I take it 6 replies is not good enough for you?

Nexus,

What exactly is your problem?

Do me a favor stop in any way from replying to my posts.

Stop questioning my personal integrity, or my motives about either of which you know nothing.

Apparently although you have an incredible ability to pogram an FMC ( read: follow the manual ) you forgot to study the concept of irony.

I am growing increasingly sick of your personal attacks against me in these forums.

It is typical of you to take one line completely out of context and to twist it to your own personal issues.

I am not impressed Nexus not by your screenshots or your morality as I am sure you are well aware.

But I neither question nor attack them. In fact I simply would never reply.

I will take this to the mods and leave it for them.

Do whatever you want to do.
I'm just sick and tired about whining like "My screenshots doesn't get enough replies, poor me"

YOU ARE A GROWN MAN.

And you know what.
My screenshots arent posted to impress anyone (just that is childish), I post them because I like to share my simming experiences. I don't possess the most expensive rig, or the massive amount of payware sceneries some have, so naturally my screenies aren't breathtaking  :)

And "Reading the manuals" will definetly give you the knowledge I have...where have I said otherwise  ;)

But please Michael, why do you complain about the low numbers of replies? Many people are watching the threads and I'm sure they appreciate them, despite no replies.

This is a screenshot forum.
Let's keep it about the shots,
That is what this forum is about.

Having to remain neutral for obvious reasons,
let's keep our personal thought about posting out of this and stick to the shots!

Thanks for the cooperation...

Nexus,

Read my personal post to you.

Out of respect for this forum and you I will not reply to you publicly. You should learn to do the same.

The point was as follows:

I think that oftentimes judgements about screenshots are made on the basis of things other than the screenshots themselves so I used irony to make the point.

For instance I judge the screenshot contest but I cannot in fact will not judge them based on the plane, the designer, if it's GA or a fighter, commercial, old or new, fs2002 or 4 or my personal relationship with the person who posts.

All that is important is the level of the shot its execution and how it fits the theme.

I try to apply that to all the posts here as well as elsewhere regardless of the payware developer Ariane to Alphasim and everything in between.

Oh and Nexus sorry about the amount of payware I have (you still have to know how to use it and take shots that have beauty and movement ) should I apologize for being successful in my business?

I think not.
