My ATR 72-500 repaint

this is based on a real ATR 72-202 British Airways Livery, this is my first repaint ever and my first Payware product and not the last i can tell ya
i dont think British Airways used the ATR 72-500, but i think it looks good on the girl

Ok thats it for now, i know theres still alot to do, the united kingdom and british airways text are done using fonts, the tail and front BA logo are ripped from actual photo's

i hope this lives up to the master painters of the FS community

Looks fantastic!

But, how do you take the text and such from actual photos?

And is the tail hand drawn? I need to learn this stuff

the tail isnt hand drawn, its ripped/taken from a real photo, you need to have a good understanding of the program you use to acheive the result you need, The tail isnt finished yet, i have to finish off the rest by hand (thank god for graphic tablets)
its quite easy to do once you know the program your using, and what tool does what and know what tool will give you better results than others...if you want to learn, the best way to do it really is to practice on something, try everything out and you will get to know all the tools and settings.
